La Patisserie is a French inspired pastry shop featuring fresh made pastries, breakfast treats, desserts and chocolates created right here at NFCI by our pastry chefs and students. You can also grab a specialty coffee drink or tea.
La Patisserie provides a hands-on real world learning environment for the students of the NFCI Pastry Arts curriculum. The goal of this casual eat-in or take-out operation is to simulate a retail bakery that offers a variety of European sweets and breakfast sandwiches from bite-sized desserts to homemade gelato. This outlet allows pastry students to hone their skills and understand the retail business model in a "real" working pastry shop.
The Pastry Production Experience classes - PAS 205 and PAS 207 - give students a chance to work in the high volume retail sales environment of a free standing pastry shop.
In accordance with the New York State and CDC guidelines with regard to COVID-19, La Patisserie will be closed until further notice. No takeout service will be available during the closure, but we will post reopening information on the website when it becomes available.
